At PotaLife.com, we understand that taking the steps towards your first POTA activation can come with many questions. This section aims to address your most common inquiries, providing clear and helpful answers.

What is PotaLife
PotaLife.com is a unique destination for anyone interested in, or actively participating in, Parks On The Air® adventures. We provide a cozy and informative rest stop, full of incredibly useful information, tips, and inspiration for fellow Amateur Operators. I’m working to build the blog portion of the site. Notably, you’ll find the most informative and detailed Solar Weather Propagation Dashboard on the planet. We have constructed an extremely detailed Guide for how to make the most of the new Dashboard. Welcome to PotaLife.com.

You can submit your story through our contact page. We love to hear from our visitors! In fact, we do read every Ham Radio related story submitted. There are a few that we have received and feel should be highlighted on PotaLife.com. Plans are in place to implement that process…stay tuned, but please feel encouraged to submit your story in the meantime. 

Unfortunately, not at this time. We want contributions in our blogs, but have found that some people enjoy submitting inappropriate content, including spam/scam marketing nonsense. We’re researching ways to prevent that. 

We publish new POTA activations as life duties allow, featuring a variety of State Parks in Texas.
